Installing Android Studio / Eclipse in Ubuntu

hello guys in this tutorial i gonna show you how to install Android Studio and eclipse in Ubuntu. i know installing programs is not complicated but the website is still new and i have to put some articles before starting the real work also how knows maybe this article can help someone.

  Any way this Tutorial is for Linux (Ubuntu)

  let’s Start

First of all we need to install Java for the two both program So we go to Ubuntu Software Center and we search for Java

 

we Install OpenJDK Java 6 Runtime.

 if you use an other distribution of linux you can install java from the official website : http://www.java.com/fr/download/ 


after installing Java you can download Android Studio from here : http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/studio.html


and when you finish download and extracting (android-studio-bundle-xx-linux.tgz) you can open android studio by going to the terminal and go to the folder bin by typing :

cd /folder_destination/android-studio/bin/

 

then type :

./studio.sh


for the first time you should press enter and android studio will run


if it doesn’t, make sure you have install Java.

As for Eclipse you can download it from here : http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html


download the file and extract it when you do you will found:


two click in eclipse and it will run
